Biblical Kosher
I think that the best resources for these questions are books which I have been buying and giving away for forty years. You can probably buy used copies very cheap on http://www.half.com which is how I now buy copies to give away to others. By the way reading them will increase your faith in the HaShem and His Word.
1) “None of These Diseases” written by a medical doctor named S.I. McMillen. Revised edition by David Stern (editor of the Complete Jewish Bible.)
2) “God’s Keys to Health and Happiness” by a Baptist minister named Elmer A. Josephson
3) “Holy Cow” See at http://www.ffoz.com Along with D. Thomas Lancaster, author Hope Egan (all of the books in FFOZ bookstore are worth acquiring as soon as possible if you are thirsty for the Word, Messianic worship and a more intimate relationship with HaShem.)
What is Kosher?
Reading: Lev 11 & Deut 14 – Everybody has a kosher list, it just doesn’t always agree with HaShem’s list
Purpose of Kosher Ex 15:26
If we choose to sin we are choosing to suffer. Gal 6:7
Rabbinical Kosher vs. Biblical Kosher
The first record of Kosher? Gen 6:14-7:5 Who first received it? To whom did it apply? Has anything changed?
Paganism vs. Kosher
New Covenant and Kosher
Matthew 5:17-19 – Yahshua’s statement on every small little commandment.
Mark 7:18-20 – Hyperbole (hy-per-bo-le) (noun) exaggeration deliberate and obvious exaggeration used for effect, e.g. “I could eat a million of these!” Thesaurus: exaggeration, overstatement. Antonym: understatement.
Acts 10-11 – Peter’s vision and Peter’s interpretation of his vision.
Acts 15:19-21 – Three of four requirements are about Biblical Kosher for the Gentiles. Rabbi Paul verified this revelation in Acts 21:15-30
1 Tim 4:1-5 – This passage is often hijacked to teach non compliance but careful study comes to the opposite conclusion.
Rev 16:13, 18:2 – If all animals are now clean why does the last book to be added to Scripture still refer to them as UNCLEAN?
